This is a project to undertake a number of changes to the outside space at St Werburgh’s Community Centre to make it more user-friendly and productive.

The works include: transformation of the existing car park and improvements and renewals to the perimeter gardens at the centre, with elements of landscaping, improving access, relocating recycling, providing interactive play equipment, outdoor seating and performance space, a sensory garden, and educational insect-themed displays. The raised beds will create a vegetable garden used on weekly basis by the centre’s Raking & Baking project participants, and vibrant, colourful year-round planting, which will make the space more welcoming.
