West Cumbria Woodland Strategy - Forest Futures Programme

Delivery of the West Cumbria Woodland Strategy, delivered through the Forestry Commission's Forest Futures Programme. Three project sites are being delivered as part of the programme, Schoose Farm Woodland, Station Wood, Kirk Cross Quarry, each of the sites is being developed as a community woodland with full public access. Proposals include new planting, woodland management, new footpaths, interpretation and community involvement
