West Mendip B-Lines

The aim of this project is to work along the B-lines in the Western Mendips and Lower Chew Valley to connect wildlife rich habitats by creating ecological corridors thus enabling movement of species across the landscape and providing resilience to existing nature reserves. This phase of the project will complement work being carried out in the Mendip Hills by Somerset Wildlife Trust and the national approach being taken by our partners, Buglife. We will deliver this project through collaborative work with landowners where we will provide advice on improved land management for pollinators and deliver on the ground practical conservation work to them.
