West Midlands Woodland Species Restoration Project

This project will restore three ancient semi-natural woodlands within the West Midlands. The project will promote the importance of coppicing to achieve the full potential of woodland biodiversity. This will be achieved through a sustainable woodlands model that links land owners with local owners with local coppice networks or workers, providing a secure renewable resource to the rural craft sector whilst delivering exemplarily biodiversity management.
