West Parley Community Hub, Dorset - Replacement Roof (008220)

The building was leased but fell into disrepair and the council have taken back ownership and plan to convert it into a community hub. The works include complete removal of the first floor and installation of a new roof to include roof lights and insulation. The angle of the roof will support better run off of rainwater and be suitable for the installation of solar panels. Internal works include the removal of the bar and internal staircase; requiring replacement joist and installation of steels, electrical works and reinstating the internal suspended ceiling. To complete the project the building will be plastered, painted and decorated with new flooring to be laid throughout.
