West Sands Dune Restoration, St Andrews, Fife

The aims of this project are to:

– restore severely damaged sand dunes systems essential to the long term conservation of the West Sands beach – a SSSI and component of the Firth of Tay-Eden Estuary Natura 2000 site – and a key community and national recreational resource.
– contribute to development and implementation of a long term sustainable management plan for the West Sands.
