West Stow Anglo Saxon Village: re-thatching Project

The provision of a new thatch roof for the “Weaving House” at the West Stow Anglo Saxon Village. The village is located within a Country Park created over a former landfill site. The house is a 30 year old reconstruction, built over the archaeologically-excavated footings of an original saxon building, and is now used to accommodate a reconstructed loom and furniture, and to house re-enactments of the saxon period.
