To enable the whole of the local community – young children, teenagers, parents, families and older citizens to access and enjoy the facilities.
To encourage relaxation and exercise in a safe and welcoming environment.
To create a ‘Learning Environment’ that local schools can use as part of their environmental projects, thereby encouraging local children to use and respect the facilities.
To promote community involvement and cohesion by encouraging intergenerational working.
