Westbury on Severn Church Tower Restoration – Stage 1

Investigating the condition of the spire’s structural and sarking timbers, dendrochronological, archaeological and ecology reports, 3D survey, proposed scaffold design and writing the specifications, and the removal of the weathervane.
This is prior tp stage 2, which involves re-shingling the spire, associated repairs, scaffolding, replacement of the layment boarding, repairs to the spiral staircase, louvres protective screens and the high level access hatches.
