Westcote Village Hall – refurbishment and repair

Westcote Village Hall Committee (registered charity 1043595) has a duty of care under the terms of its Constitution and Trust Deed to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the Village Hall for the benefit of the community. The Committee proposes works that will replace the leaking flat roof on the kitchen/toilet extension with a fully insulated new roof; re-design of the toilet facilities (installed 1968) to provide a disabled cubicle and two enclosed unisex cubicles complete with energy efficient movement activated light sensors plus improvements to storage space. Also to undertake essential re-wiring and replace inefficient and noisy heating with intelligent modern electric heating throughout the building thus making it fit for purpose for the use of the community for the future.

To ensure the continuing maintenance/running costs of Westcote Village Hall.
Any grant offered will include a condition that any income is applied for this purpose – proportionate to the amount of grant.
