Westhay Moor NNR - Peat Restoration

Project aim is to restore 26 ha of rare lowland peatland, clear scrub and re-profile ditches and dams to rewet and increase water levels to improve sphagnum-rich habitats, bog species and store carbon. Accompanied by remodelling public access, including a raised walkway, pathways and interpretation.
