Westleigh CC Practice Facilities

We are applying for funding to install an all-weather artificial practice facility that can be used by the local community. The project is vital for the long-term development of the club based in a deprived area, in particular women, girls and disability cricket. The development of the training facilities would make the club more welcoming for players and visitors to the area. We’d keep our existing players, and reverse the cycle of decline that we are beginning to see as a result of our poor facilities. The facility will enable more people to practice at the same time; it will also enable people to practice when the ground is wet and unable to be used. Schools and disability groups will use the facility.
