Westway Ponds Community Nature Reserve Astley Village Chorley – Phase 1

The proposal is to develop a community nature reserve in an area of interconnecting ponds and the surrounding woodland. Phase 1 will involve creating better access to the woodland by clearing the overgrown understorey and thinning the woodland canopy to increase the amount of light to the existing ponds to improve the habitats.
