Westway Urban Forest

The siting of containerised trees along Thorpe Close to help assist with the improvement in air quality by the reduction of air pollutants. A range of trees have been selected to provide colour and interest throughout the four seasons. In addition, several of the trees are known to be good species for removing or reducing pollutants from the atmosphere and it is hoped that these trees will complement the existing trees planted in Portobello Green (Park) adjacent to Thorpe Close.
