Wetheral Community Centre

The aim of the project is to fund the sustainable energy element (Air Source Heat Pump) and disabled access of a new community centre to be built in Wetheral.

The existing Village Hall has been sold as it is a Grade II listed building with no disabled access and limited parking. The Wetheral Community Association are also selling an old school house to raise capital.

The new building will be on land already purchased, with the access roads in place. Planning permission has been obtained and the project put out to tender.
