Wetland Habitat Insh Marshes

RSBP aim to carry out maintenance and restoration work at this important wetland site. This will include ditching work, scrape creation and ditch blocking, installation of fencing to create a wildflower meadow, scrub clearance and cutting work with a soft track machine. By carrying out this work the biodiversity of the area will be improved. A UKBAP priority habitat (floodplain grazing marsh) will be maintained. Habitat conditions will be improved for a number of UKBAP priority species, encouraging higher population numbers of species including lapwing, reed bunting, water vole, curlew and grasshopper. Visitors experience at the reserve will be improved
