Whale Hill Community Centre, Cleveland - Main Hall Refurbishment (5722/D)

The Trust grant will contribute towards the main hall refurbishment. The project involves the complete renovation and refurbishment of the main hall of the Whale Hill Community Centre. The centre was built in 1983 and since then aspects of it have seen improvements. The main hall is the only area of the centre which has not been upgraded and needs to be improved to the standard of the rest of the centre. This would involve the following work:- - Dismantle and remove the existing stage and disco booth and replace with up to date facility. - Take down present dated ceiling and replace with new. - Incorporate new lighting to include spotlights, emergency lighting and uplights. - Replace four suspended ceiling industrial fans and controller. - Remove and dispose of existing flooring. Replace with new heavy duty flooring. - All related electrical work and painting and decorating.
