Whaplode - Village Hall Refurbishment

The project is replace rotten windows with more energy efficient double glazes units, made from sustainable hardwood. Replacement of exterior cladding with Celotex [75 mm] insulation board to further increase the thermal efficiency of the building all year round. The vertical face will be covered with T&G Western Red Cedar from sustainable stocks. This will be further treated with a recommended preservative. The pitched roof area to the main hall and meeting room will be insulated to 80mm, composite plastic coated steel sheets will be used in a colour to blend into the surroundings.
