Whitefield Nature Reserve – Endangered Species

Whitefield nature reserve is a haven for rare and endangered species such as the bullfinch, song thrush and brown hare. This project will ensure the survival of these species by installing a permanent water supply and fencing enabling the Trust to manage the nature reserve with grazing animals. This grazing regime will support plants and invertebrates which will provide appropriate food sources for these endangered species.
