Whitehaven Lengthsman - Black Path

The wider Whitehaven Lengthsman project will undertake various environmental improvement works in the Whitehaven area to enhance it for residents and visitors. This particular phase of the wider, overall scheme involves works to improve Black Path a footpath which is on a public right of way. The path runs from Lakeland Avenue to Woodhouse Road in Sandwith. Specifically works include clearing the path of vegetation to improve access and spraying to control regrowth. Other general site improvement and maintenance works will be undertaken where required to encourage the best possible use of the footpath by the general public.
