Whitehaven United Reformed Church Hall Roof Repairs

The hall was built in 1975 and the roof was re-felted in 1996. Both the entrance foyer and the main hall roof are now leaking and in need of renovation. The project aims to repair and waterproof the roof, so as to extend its life. The ‘Liquid Plastics’ system will be used and, after power washing, exposing and repairing the roof structure, new roof lights and flat board insulation will be installed, followed by several coats of ‘Decothane’ waterproofing (guaranteed for 25 years). The repair will ensure that a sound and secure environment continues to be available for both church and non-church-related community activities.
