Whitehawk Racehill Orchard, Brighton - Community Orchard (1863/D)

The aim of the project is to create Brighton's first full-scale traditional orchard in nearly a century comprising two hundred fruit trees (including many rare Sussex apple varieties) and three hundred and eighty shelter trees/shrubs on one hectare of orchard as well as half a hectare of surrounding land that we shall also manage. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the community orchard.
