Whiteshill Play Area Fencing and Play Den/Decking

The Parish Council wish to replace the existing fencing with round timber fencing which would allow it to be incorporated into play. The timber posts would be at differing heights allowing them to be climbed on by slightly older cildren, but high enough to keep the young toddlers within the play area, and to keep dogs out. The Play area looks onto the playing field, where there is a slope onto the playing field where there is a football pitch and orchard and bike ramps. Within the play area the parish council also wish to extend the area and incorporate a decking area with an underneath space to allow children to have a den.The parish council have held a consultation on the play area design asking for what was needed. The fence is in need of repair as it has been there for some years and is now in need of constant maintenance. By replacing it with a fence and decking that can be incorporated into play with solid wood, it should last for some years into the future
