Whitworth Cycleway

This project is to improve and provide a new cycleway from Britannia (BACUP) in the north with Healey Dell in the south. Landfill communities funds will provide section 3 of the route, which is a new section and entirely off road.
This safe corridor will run alongside several schools and areas of housing providing school links and routes for residents and visitors to explore neighbouring attractions including historic Whitworth Square, Cowm Valley and other sites promoted in the ‘Valley of Stone’ outdoor Museum Heritage Project.
