Widen, Extend & Reconstruct The Main Entrance To Rock Churchyard To Facilitate Safe Access For All Visitors

The aim of the project is to facilitate an easy and safe access to our church from the narrow council road for the increasing number of visitors that we are getting. We plan to widen and reconstruct the existing narrow entrance, stabilise the adjoining stone walls and reduce the gradient inside the churchyard.
The project, when completed, should eliminate the longstanding problem of damage to both cars and the adjacent stone walls, which we have frequently experienced in the past. It will also enhance the visual impact of our grade 1 listed Norman church and make the road safer for all users.
