Wilder Lives at Adel Dam

To enhance Adel Dam nature reserve for the north Leeds community by delivering visitor infrastructure improvements that: accommodate increasing visitor numbers; allow continued visitor growth; support a diverse community of traditional and new users to enjoy the site in ways that reflect their interests and needs; and ensure wildlife is protected.

Proposed infrastructure improvements are as follows:

1. Install new visitor welcome and orientation shelter with interpretation panels at nature reserve entrance
2. Install new lakeside wildlife viewing screen
3. Install new/upgraded boardwalk with woodland adventure walkway
4. Install new interpretation panels, sculpture, waymarking signage and nature trail around reserve
5. Upgrade bird feeding station at existing hide
