Wildlife and Wetlands for Everyone

The Millennium Country Park is the premier green infrastucture site in the Marston Vale, covering 225 hectares (ha) and comprising of a mosaic of woodland, wetland, grassland and open water.
We are seeking to upgrade the trail in the Wetlands Reserve (82ha), which sits at the heart of the site. The project will see the construction of c 2.5km of new access path through the Reserve. Unlike the majority of the Park which has fully accessible tracks, the Wetlands Reserve, with its uneven, un-engineered grass paths, is far from inclusive and is inaccessible to many for significant periods of the year.
