Wildlife Feature Pond – Centenary Park Airdrie

The grant will pay for the materials essential for the installation of the Wildlife Feature Pond and Pathway improvements for the purpose of leisure and recreation.

Specifically it will for example:

• Implement environmental improvements for the purposes of biodiversity and conservation;
• Improve access to facilities for everyone including people with disabilities;
• Improve access to facilities for volunteering purposes;
• Increase the number of volunteering opportunities;
• Improve and increase the number of uses/users of the facility;
• Reduce anti-social behaviour in the area;
• Improve the perception of community safety;
• Provide a safe and secure environment for users; and
• Sustain the facility for current and future generations.
