Wildlife for a Life

The aim of the project is to take a currently overgrown and derelict piece of land contaminated with Japenese Knotweed and turn it into a community memorial garden and wild space, dedicated to the memory of a local man who was a keen gardener. This will be achieved by volunteers from the local community working with BTCV to clear the land, put in footpaths, a seating area and planting trees and flowers beneficial to wildlife.
