Wildlife Habitat Protection Trust

The Trust owns and manages Old Park Plantation a 15ha area of woodland which is open to community groups and specifically targets disabled and vulnerable groups. Accessible paths have and continue to be created within the woodland to ensure access for all. This particular project is to create an accessible pathway from the left hand side of the woodland to the Apiary enabling all sections of the community to see and experience a working Apiary. In addition creation of the footpath will ensure people will follow the paths minimising the impact on the flora and fauna within the woodland.
