Wildwood, Canterbury – Regeneration

Wildwood is enabling the first rewilded ancient woodland, a 600-acre site with grazing from bison & boar, reintroduction of pine martens, red squirrel & other lost species. Wildwood needs to develop the infrastructure to allow the movement of animals between their park and the rewilded woodland. Wildwood is asking for funding to cover the costs of fencing and hard standing in the park to create a system to move the animals between the park and the nature reserve, and giving somewhere to house the animals while they are on rotation. The decline of nature puts our survival under threat. We are losing touch with nature; children are suffering from nature deficit disorder. If we act now, we can restore nature by creating a wilder countryside. For our project, we must create an effective system of enclosures/fencing to move animals
