Willow Way Community project.

We aim to work with the local community to change an abandoned space behind residential houses into an orchard and growing space for wildlife and local people. The community have approached BTCV and we will work closely with the Gloucestershire Orchard group to ensure the new orchard has local provenance trees, and will provide a good habitat for wildlife associated with orchards. The community will be encouraged to learn the skills of growing food and fruit for themselves and traditional skills such as pruning and grafting trees.
