Willsbridge Mill Wildlife Garden and Ponds, Willsbridge Mill Community Refresh (WMCR) Community Interest Company (CIC), Bristol

This is a project to establish a wildlife garden and pond at Willsbridge Mill. Willsbridge Mill is set in a wildlife area and pond dipping has been popular here for years. Due to the increase in the number of visitors to the centre, the current pond is no longer fit for purpose, as it is too small and does not allow wildlife to thrive. As a complement to the pond, WMCR wishes to develop existing scrubland into a wildlife garden by planting native indigenous species, particularly those plants which attract wildlife such as bees and other insects.
