Willsbridge Mill – Wildtrackers

Willsbridge Mill is Avon Wildlife Trust’s education and interpretation centre set among eight hectares of steep valley covered in woodland and other habitats with a long history of quarrying and industrial use. Wildtrackers will bring the local community together to investigate and record the history of the site and then improve it for access, interpretation and nature conservation.

A discrete part of this project will ensure that the site is accessible to all, both physically and in terms of education and understanding. There will be access improvements and safety work to the main approach to the Mill, the stone steps, and the addition of disabled parking bays. A disabled access audit will inform the improvements that need to be made.

Education and understanding will be provided through the Wildtracker backpacks and journals that will be on offer for visitors to the site and the local community.
