Winfrith Newburgh Cricket Club – Gang Mower

Purchase of a reconditiond Gang Mower to enable Winfrith Newburgh Cricket Club to maintain their pitch and also the adjacent pitches of Winfrith Senior and Junior Football Clubs.

The cricket club is well established and plays both league and friendly matches. Membership is about 28 players and the 2004 season saw 34 matches played.

The grounds are publicly accessible and the cricket square and football pitch have been created within the last 15 years. There is a Sports Pavilion on site.

The mower will be stored in a wooden shed on the sports field and will be chained to a concrete block for security.
