Wingerworth – Community Multi-Use Games Area

To install a multi-use games area to fill a gap in the range of activities currently on offer which includes facilities for cricket, football, bowls and tennis, a children’s play area and an outdoor exercise circuit but no multi-use area. The need for a multi-use area has been highlighted through a broad consultation exercise amongst local residents where it was felt to be a priority for general use by young people who wanted a safe and secure area to both play and train all year round.
