WINKBURN, Church of St John of Jerusalem – Restoration of Monuments

St John of Jerusalem belonged to the Order of St John until the Restoration when it passed to Thomas Burnell, Henry VIII’s treasurer. His son William’s monument (+1609) and that of D’Arcy Burnell (+1774) are in need of stabilisation and cleaning.
