Winster Play Area Refurbishment Project

This project is to refurbish the existing play equipment at Winster Playing Fields, which has served the local community well for the last 20 years, but as come to the end of its serviceable life. The new facility aims to provide:
• Multi age (4-13 years) and multi ability facility used by groups of children at the same time.
• Create a new adventure play area with updated equipment, including centre piece as well as separate items for children of different ages and abilities to enjoy.
• Inclusiveness
• Progression for children of all ages to be able to safely use the play area, including items that young children (nursery age) through to teenagers can use.
• A natural look and feel to the new development – blending in with the local environment.
• Provide seating for parents /carers of children to sit at and chat whilst children are playing.
