Wirksworth Heritage Centre - Lime Rendering

This project is to lime render Wirksworth Heritage Centre, a Grade II listed building with 17th Century origins located in a conservation area. The building was a former 3 storey shop / town house in the town centre, bequeathed to Wirksworth Heritage Centre charity in 2012 by a family who had owned the poperty for over 150 years. The Centre was renovated and opened as a Heritage Centre last year with museum collections and exhibitions. This project involves removing existing cement render to the front elevations, applying new lime render and decorating with Keim paint in keeping with the sites origins and protecting the building from damp problems.
