Withington QEII Field Play Area Renovation

The aim is to replace the existing dilapidated equipment with new, safe, challenging, modern climbing frames (one for toddlers and one for the older children), inclusive swings (to enable children with disabilities to play alongside their friends), a springer and a gravity bowl (again for inclusive play).The current climbing frame is over 20 years old and the swings have been there for over 40 years. The wooden climbing frame is rotting and is unlikely to pass it’s next safety inspeciton.New equipment is desperately needed to give the children of the village a safe inviting area in which to play.
