Witney – Eynsham Village Hall Lighting Project

As part of an assessment of required work, lighting throughout the building has been identified for urgent improvements. This will 1)enable all hirers, particularly those who attend the Day Centre (elderly) and the Bartholomew Players (amateur dramatics) to see more easily;
2) All lights (including emergency lights) to be of working order;
3) Replace particularly inefficient and expensive to use, wall up-lights; and
4) Reduce the electricity costs for the Village Hall by lowering the consumption.
It is anticipated that the outcomes of the project will:-
1) Provide a much brighter, welcoming and quieter environment. (The existing wall lights hum and creek when warming up). In turn, it is anticipated that reading and tasks that require clear sight such as gardening and karate, will be easier.
2) It is anticipated that the electricity costs for the Village Hall will reduce due to the more energy efficient lighting.
