Wittenham Wetlands Project

The project will create a landscape exceptionally rich in amphibians and other wetland species by restoring and enhancing existing habitat on our SAC and SSSI. It will diversify and create new wetland habitat, including ponds, wet woodland and wetland scrapes. The project will directly benefit two UK BAP priority habitats and two priority species, and indirectly benefit a number of other priority species of mammals, birds and invertebrates.
