Wivenhoe Sensory Garden, Wivenhoe Town Council, Essex

This is a project to create a sensory garden in Wivenhoe, which will be a quiet place for leisure, contemplation, and an oasis of wellbeing for all, including those with special needs. The garden will include areas which will stimulate the senses, such as a water feature, raised beds for local groups to cultivate herbs and vegetables, fruit trees, bird boxes, tall grasses, and solar lighting which will give light in the evenings. The garden will be open to all and create a space that everyone can benefit from.
