Wivenhoe Town Council

The play area, located at Mede Way, is owned by Colchester Borough Council and managed by Wivenhoe Town Council. The site is the only small play area at the top of the village. It is an area which has been there for 25 years and the only play equipment on it is now 15 years old and very outdated.
Residents in the area have petitioned the Town Council for hte play area to be refurbished , so much that they have started a resident’s assocition to raise the profile and the funds towards this project. The project aims to provide the following items of play equipment;

‘Adventurer 1’ Multi Play Unit
Mushroom Seating x 4
Springy Mobiles x 2
Single colour wet pour surfacing
