Wollaton Park, Nottingham – Play Area (40175/D/TP)

The projects aim is for the removal of the current play area and returning this site back to grass. The new play area is to be located in a better position which is close to the main car park but doesn’t impact insensitively on the site’s historic landscape. This new facility is to be an exciting and interesting play space for all ages, even adults! The space will have a large number of play opportunities including swinging, sliding, climbing, rocking, spinning and balancing. There will also be sensory play, educational and bespoke elements.

The grant will contribute towards the play equipment, footpaths and park furniture.
