Wolsingham Methodist Church

Weekly services, midweek fellowship meetings and regular coffee mornings are held at the Church. It has also started family services and a drop-in service. The Hall attached to the Church has already been adapted and rented out to a local business man who was urgently looking for premises. This has met a local need, employed local people and given the Church a steady income to help with its running costs. The group is looking to refurbish and update the Church in order to convert it into a community hall/facility. Although a well-maintained building, centrally placed in the village, it has become dated and no longer meets the standards and expectations of today.
The Church has been approached by groups and individuals who wish to use the premises. If funding can be secured to make the changes and improvements the church needs, then these groups and individuals would be able to use the Church as a community facility by enabling the area used for worship to double-up as a large community hall.
