Wombwell Wood Reservoir Improvement Works

The project is aimed at providing the public long-term recreation and amenity use. The works required will reinforce a potentially weak structure and enable the continuation of fishing rights, employment and public enjoyment of a popular reservoir. The reservoir head wall requires extensive maintenance to ensure prolonged safety for patrons and reassurance for the fishing rights holder and residents / businesses affected by a potential breach.
