Wonderland, Manchester – Redevelopment

The existing facilities at Wonderland Park only include outdated football and basketball nets which need to be relocated with proper surfacing and space redesign. There are no benches, bins or pathways in the park nor is there any play equipment for under 5’s or 5-16 year olds. We intend to install some surfacing for the relocated sports equipment, at least 8 benches, 10 bins, pathways throughout the park, an under 5’s play area with 5 pieces of play equipment, and a mini adventure play area with 7 pieces of play equipment. Some of the fencing panels around the park need to be replaced, 30 new trees will be planted and a sensory garden will be installed. The park will be landscaped in the area that it is needed.
The Trust grant is a contribution towards park redevelopment.
