Woodbury Road Play Area

Using a blend of traditional playground equipment and incorporating natural play features we will create a dynamic hub for the community. Bordered by activity and earthworks including forts, create your own dens, wild flowers for picking, living willow sculptures and climbing boulders. This play area will provide a range of equipment for children and young people to have fun.

The ward is one of 10% of the most deprived in the country, and in much need of support and investment. Providing positive activities will help divert young people away from anti social behaviour, provide an alternative to alcohol and provide challenging physical activity which tackles the obesity problem.
