Woodkirk Parish Centre

The aim or our project is to provide improved facilities at our Parish Centre to increase participation in a wide range of community events and activities held each week throughout the year.

Extending and altering the layout of our building will:-

(i) Provide extra accommodation for groups (such as our play group) who are presently short of space and unable to expand
(ii) Enable more than one event or activity to run at the same time
(iii) Increase the range and choice of activities.
(iv) Improve access to the building for the elderly, disabled and mothers with push chairs
(v) Enable us to separate quieter activities (such as meetings, reading groups etc) from more lively activities

New toilet facilities, including provision for the disabled were provided last year funded by donations and money raised through local fundraising activities.
